Regina - Construction du nouveau centre paroissial
Dans les jours qui suivirent l'élection des nouveaux syndics, le 10 février 1963, une rencontre eut lieu entre S. Exc. Mgr O'Neill et les syndics, comme en témoigne une lettre du président du Conseil des syndics. M. Léo LIRETTE, à l'Archevêque de Regina :
«Your Grace:
Re: Paroisse St-Jean-Baptiste Construction Project
Further to your Saturday morning audience with Rev. Father Stephen Gattafoni, O.F.M. and the Council of Trustees of Paroisse St-Jean-Baptiste, this letter with (sic) confirm your approval of the following:
a) Construction of Parish Hall, School room and ancilliary space at an estimated cost of $64,000.00.
b) $38,000.00 bank loan guaranteed by the Archiepiscopal Corporation of Regina.
c) Resumption of sale of old property at Lorne Street and 15
th Avenue on best possible
terms available. The proceeds to be applied on loan repayment. -
We will diligently proceed to the execution of the foregoing, to the best of our knowledge and ability, and with your Grace's blessing, will endeavour to bring these projects to a most satisfactory completion.
